Beyond the larger budget that the Mandanas ruling will bring to local government units, LGUs also need to lessen their dependence on National Tax Allotments.
In 2024, they will be left on their own when it comes to delivering goods and services for all devolved functions.
Last September 29, 2021 at “Retooling LGU’s Organization, Staffing, and Funding Strategies,” government speakers presented broad strokes on how to retool the management and system of LGUs to generate more revenues and serve their constituents better.
