This study assesses citizens’ access to and utilization of the Sponsored Program (SP) services of the National Health Insurance Program (PhilHealth), as well as service quality and beneficiary satisfaction. The study revealed low levels of beneficiary awareness, knowledge, access, and usage of Philhealth services and benefit package. Nonetheless, majority expressed satisfaction on the services but recommended expanded coverage, more health personnel and completely free health services.
