On Nov. 28 and 29, 2016, the Department of Trade and Industry and the Board of Investments staged the first-ever Manufacturing Summit.
One key question asked in the Summit pertained to the most binding constraints that face micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The main constraint of our MSMEs is the small number of large enterprises. Generally, MSMEs’ success is hinged on their connection to large companies.
