Economic Transformation, Equality, Resilience: Challenges for the Duterte Administration and Beyond

Coming off from the Aquino Administration, which produced periods of high economic growth for the country, the Philippines still failed to address its historical and inherent structural weaknesses that bar inclusive development. As President Rodrigo Duterte starts his 6-year term of office in Malacañang, Action for Economic Reforms listed critical economic issues that the current and future administrations must address in the years to come. The following are the issues emerging from this structural weakness:
