Carlito Añonuevo (4 September 1955 – 4 February 2007)

We are sad to announce the passing of our President, whom we more fondly called Tolits or Lito.

Lito was one of the founders of AER and an active member of the AER Management Collective, serving as its President since 2003. He was also a retired professor of Economics of the University of the Philippines in Los Banos, Laguna. Lito was a staunch advocate of economic justice and environmental protection.

AER joins Lito’s family, his other NGO affiliations, and his friends in grieving his death.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 6 PM at the Loyola Memorial Viewing Chapels in Marikina City. This is sponsored by the Tambuyog Development Center. A short program follows after the mass.

We would also like to request you to please pray for the eternal repose of his soul.
